September 15th: 24th Superkarts! USA SuperNationals cancelled in Las Vegas!

Superkarts! USA officially confirmed on Tuesday that the 24th running of its famous SuperNationals won’t go ahead as planned in Las Vegas in 2020. The event, attracting each year hundreds of kart drivers from all over the US and beyond, was scheduled from November 18th to 22nd at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

September 7th: Rotax MAX Euro Trophy: Change of location for the season’s final round

The fourth and final race meeting of the 2020 Rotax MAX Euro Trophy, scheduled on the second weekend of November, won’t be taking place at the International Karting Circuit of Campillos, in Spain.

June 22nd: 31st Andrea Margutti Trophy rescheduled for November 15th at Lonato

Due to conflicting events of the Italian Championship and DKM that overlapped on the initial chosen date of August 30th for the 31st Andrea Margutti Trophy, Parma Motorsport has decided to postpone the event to November 13th-15th at the South Garda Karting circuit.

June 15th: WSK makes further changes to 2020 calendar, Adria re-start confirmed on July 5th

After four months of forced stop, the karting season is about to resume with the WSK series and a new calendar. In Adria, the WSK Super Master Series will reach its conclusion with Rounds 3 and 4 while the WSK Euro Series will kick off at Sarno and end with a double round in Lonato. The WSK Open Cup will take place in Adria and the WSK Final Cup in Sarno.

June 13th: 2020 Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy moves to Portimao in December

Further to the worldwide travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 virus, BRP-Rotax and 3MK Events have carefully taken the decision to postpone the second edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy which would have taken place from July 28th to August 1st, 2020 at Le Mans.

June 10th: New date and location for the 2020 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and current travel restrictions, BRP-Rotax has decided to postpone the 2020 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals until January 2021 and to change the location to Portimão instead of Bahrain.

June 4th: FIA Karting European Championship – OK/Junior: Kristianstad opener cancelled

The ASN of Sweden, Svenska Bilsportförbundet, has informed the CIK-FIA on Thursday that the organizer of the Swedish Competition of the FIA Karting European Championship – OK/Junior has had to resign itself to cancel the event scheduled from 9th to 12th July 2020 in Kristianstad due to circumstances regarding the COVID-19.

May 23th: Rotax MAX Euro Trophy: PFI opener canceled, Campillos added as Finale

The Rotax Max Challenge Euro Trophy has unveiled further changes to its 2020 calendar with the cancellation of the opening round at PFI, which moves the start of the competition to August, and the adding of the Circuito Karting Campillos, in Spain, as the closing event in November.

May 23th: WSK reveals new racing calendar starting in July

WSK Promotion revealed on Saturday its revised calendar for the 2020 season with a re-start scheduled on July 5th at the Adria Karting Raceway. A new racing format is also proposed with two events during the same week on some occasions.

May 18th: RGMMC Champions of the Future moves series opener to Zuera

Due to the current uncertainty surrounding the restart of karting events, the RGMMC Group has officially decided to cancel the opening round of the 2020 Champions of the Future series at Kristianstad, in Sweden. The competition will, therefore, start at Zuera, in Spain.

May 13th: International IAME Games: What we know about RGMMC’s new event at Portimao

The RGMMC Group has announced on Wednesday the launch of a new event in 2020, the International IAME Games, to take place in November on the Algarve karting circuit, in Portugal. RGMMC President James Geidel tells us more about this new “festival” created with the support of IAME.

April 24th: A new calendar for the 2020 IAME X30 Euro Series

The IAME X30 Euro Series is the latest international karting series to revise its 2020 calendar following safety measures imposed by European countries in relation to the current Covid-19 emergency.

April 20th: RGMMC Champions of the Future calendar revised

The RGMMC Group had made further changes to the 2020 calendar of the Champions of the Future series, aligning itself with the recently-updated FIA Karting schedule.

April 16th: Further changes to FIA Karting calendar, Portimao host of the World Championship-OK/Junior

Due to the global health concerns regarding COVID-19, the CIK-FIA has modified the 2020 FIA Karting sporting calendar accordingly. Date changes concern races held in Wackersdorf and Genk, both part of the European Championships, as well as the two world events for direct-drive and gearbox classes. The OK/Junior competition will take place at Portimao, Portugal, instead of Brazil.

April 15th: FIA Karting World Championship – OK/Junior in Brazil postponed to 2021

The FIA Karting World Championship for OK and OK-Junior classes won’t take place in Brazil in 2020. A new European venue will be selected for the current season while Birigui will be back on the calendar in 2021, the CIK-FIA confirmed.

April 8th: 2020 World Championship – OK/Junior to be moved from Brazil to Europe

Words from within karting circles suggest that this year’s FIA Karting World Championship – OK/Junior is to be moved to Europe instead of Brazil, where it was originally scheduled, on November 1st, 2020. This information is yet to be confirmed by sporting authorities.

April 6th: WSK Super Master Series races in May postponed

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 emergency, WSK Promotion announces another rescheduling of its calendar, resulting in the two events originally planned for May the 3rd at La Conca and May the 24th at Sarno to be officially ‘frozen’ and postponed. The promoter is committed to define a new calendar and to have a regular running of the 2020 WSK competitions.

April 3rd: FIA Karting European Championship-OK/Junior opener at Sarno postponed

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic currently spreading throughout much of the world and the extended period of quarantine in Italy, the CIK-FIA has postponed the date of the opening round of the FIA Karting European Championship – OK/Junior, originally scheduled on May 14-17 at Sarno.

April 2nd: The Karting 24 Hours of Le Mans canceled

As a consequence of the health evolution in France and in the world resulting in the modification of many sporting programs, the Karting 24 Hours of Le Mans, initially planned on August 29 and 30, are officially canceled.

April 2nd: Rotax MAX Euro Trophy makes further revisions to 2020 calendar

Following on with the Covid-19 pandemic that is still continuing its global disruption, there has been a further hefty revision to the 2020 Rotax MAX Euro Trophy season calendar, which was originally due to start at Karting Genk on April 10th, before being put back to the second weekend of May.

March 28th: Superkarts! USA releases Pro Tour calendar update

Superkarts! USA released a statement regarding the ongoing talks with its main partners to re-schedule the postponed rounds of the 2020 Pro Tour due to the Covid-19 situation in the USA.

March 24th: Double change to the 2020 FIA Karting calendar

In light of the current situation in Europe, further modifications are made to the 2020 FIA Karting calendar. The Second Round of the European Championship for KZ, KZ2 and Academy Trophy will be held at Adria International Raceway instead of South Garda Karting, from August 13th to 16th.

Also, due to the fact that the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) has postponed two major events on its calendar, the 2020 KZ World Championship, KZ2 International Super Cup and Third Round of the Academy Trophy will take place at South Garda Karting instead of Le Mans from September 10th to 13th.

March 19th: Champions of Future by RGMMC gets a new calendar

We wish to inform you of our new proposed calendar for the 2020 Champions of the future CIK Classes by RGMMC, reads today’s statement.

As round one is scheduled to take place at the beginning of May, the entries will be open until the 27th of April. On the same day, we will review the situation to confirm the event. No payment will be required in order to make an entry until 100% confirmation of the event.

March 18th: DKM season start postponed until June

The German Kart Championship announced the postponing of its racing calendar.

March 18th: FIA Karting season start delayed until May

Due to the exceptional situation in Europe and much of the world, the CIK-FIA has had to change the schedule for the start of the 2020 season.

March 17th: Australian Karting on hold due to restrictive measures

Karting Australia, the governing body for kart racing “down under”, has informed local teams and drivers about the postponement of competitions in the country.

March 16th: A new calendar for the IAME X30 Euro Series

Three cays after postponing its opener at Mariembourg, the RGMMC Group released an updated racing calendar for the 2020 IAME X30 Euro Series.

March 16th: Champions of the Future Rounds 1 & 2 postponed by RGMMC

The RGMMC Group officially postponed to “further notice” the first two rounds of its newly-created series Champions of the Future in Zuera and Castelletto.

March 15th: 31st Trofeo Andrea Margutti postponed to the end of August

Promoter Parma Motorsport, together with the South Garda Karting Management and ACI Sport decided to postpone the 31st Andrea Margutti Trophy to a more suitable date in 2020.

March 14th: Superkarts! USA cancels Pro Tour WinterNationals in Louisiana

Superkarts! USA has been asked by Louisiana state’s authorities to cancel the opening meeting of the 2020 Pro Tour, the WinterNationals, at the NOLA Motorsports Park.

March 13th: Rotax MAX Euro Trophy amends 2020 season calendar

RMCET promoters Camp Company GmbH and MW Race Consulting decided to amend their 2020 season calendar.

March 13th: IAME X30 Euro Series opener at Mariembourg postponed

RGMMC announced the official postponing of the opening round of the 2020 IAME X30 Euro Series due to take place from March 26th to 29th at Mariembourg.

March 12th: WSK Promotion releases new 2020 calendar

WSK Promotion re-scheduled the three races postponed from the original 2020 WSK calendar.

March 8th: WSK Promotion postpones next three races of March

WSK Promotion decided to postpone all the forthcoming rounds of WSK Super Master Series and WSK Euro Series in March.

March 2nd: WSK Super Master Series Round 3 of La Conca postponed!

WSK Promotion announced that the Third Round of the WSK Super Master Series, scheduled from March 5th to 8th at La Conca, will be postponed.

February 24th: 31st Trofeo Andrea Margutti postponed
