Simo Puhakka (Tony Kart/Vortex) dominated the KZ2 scene by winning both the Prefinal B and Final. Shortly after overtaking Paolo Ippolito (CRG/TM) who had briefly made his way up to the front, the Finn kept himself ahead from the fourth lap onwards despite the comebacks of Stan Pex (KR/TM) and Matteo Viganò (Birel ART/TM), winner of the Prefinal A.
Ippolito finished in fourth position ahead of Giuseppe Palomba (Birel ART/TM) who maintained himself in the standings’ top position with a 40 point-lead over Puhakka. Riccardo Longhi (Birel ART/TM) managed a sixth-place finish in front of the Swede Viktor Gustafsson (Birel ART/TM) and the French Adrien Renaudin (Sodikart/TM).
