The tyres branded LeVanto, produced by LeCont, have been successfully tested over the past few months and proved to be reliable and performing. They have been intensely developed, focusing on the adaptability to all the different technical characteristics of Rok categories.

The model used for Rok classes is LeVanto KRT, which is the result of careful research and development work carried out synergistically by experienced entities of the karting world.

The LeVanto KRT tyres are an exclusive product for Rok Cup’s single-brand series and will be available in the following sizes :

  • Mini Rok : 10 x 4.00- 5 / 11 x 5.00-5
  • All the other Rok classes: 10 x 4.50-5 / 11 x 7.10-5

Rok Cup USA switches to LeVanto

In alignment with Rok Cup’s decision not to keep using the products provided by Bridgestone, which recently announced its decision to discontinue kart tyre production from the end of 2022, Rok Cup USA will also switch to LeVanto compounds from next season. All Rok Cup USA-promoted events and its affiliated partners will use the Italian tyres, with the exception of rain tyres still provided by Bridgestone.

“We are very excited about a new tyre brand and compound for the United States,” explains Garett Potter, Rok Cup Promotions Director of Operations in the official statement. “There is always some uncertainty when making a big change like this, but I think everyone can agree we were ready for something new.”

“The LeCont company is very proven in the karting market and with multiple World Championships under their belt, drivers can count on quality from them and I’m looking forward to a long relationship. Tyres for North America will be available for purchase within the next two weeks, and we will officially begin to use them in competition at the start of the 2021 Florida Winter Tour and Challenge of the Americas.”

The model used for all Rok Cup USA classes is the LeVanto KRT. The LeVanto KRT tyres are an exclusive product for Rok Cup Global, including Rok Cup USA, and will be available in the following sizes in the North American market:

– 7.1/11.0-5
