After intense winter months spent at planning and defining the targets of what will certainly be a season full of challenges, the Exprit Racing Team is about to make its debut on the international karting scene.

During the tests carried out under the leadership of Team Manager and KZ 2018 World Champion Patrik Hajek, the drivers felt at ease with the Exprit Noesis R chassis powered by Vortex engines and are now ready for their first official competitive event: the opening round of the WSK Super Master Series, scheduled this weekend at the Adria Karting Raceway.

The team’s standard-bearer in OK-Junior will be Oscar Wurz, coming from Mini 60 where he already competed in WSK races. The young Austrian will meet his brother Charlie Wurz who, following a positive experience in the 2019 FIA Karting Academy Trophy, will now make his first steps in the OK category.

The son of former F1 driver Alexander Wurz will drive in the Senior class alongside Kajus Siksnelis, back from an excellent path last year in Junior including a third position-finish in the FIA Karting World Championship as well as a victory in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy. The young Lithuanian can be seen as a potential leading driver in Exprit Racing’s OK line-up completed by the Swiss Toni Kayla Naude also making her debut in the class.

On-track action at Adria starts on Thursday for the drivers of the Exprit Racing Team with the opening Free Practice sessions, followed on Friday by Qualifying and the first heat races. Saturday will be dedicated to the pursuit of Qualifying Heats leading to Prefinals and Finals on Sunday.
