The Exprit Racing Team introduces two more names into its current line-up of drivers with Arthur Rogeon and Alexandru Iancu joining Oscar Wurz, Toni Kayla Naude, Kajus Siksnelis and Charlie Wurz. The two recruits, both born in 2006, will tackle their maiden meeting with the team in the OK-Junior category at the peak of the international karting season on the most important European circuits.

Despite their young age, both Rogeon and Iancu already have some experience, notably in WSK competitions where Rogeon made his debut in Lonato during the last round of the Super Master Series. In 2018, Iancu achieved a third-place finish at the Third Round of the WSK Super Master Series in Sarno.

The karting career of Arthur Rogeon started in 2017 in France where he cumulated good results in the cadet category, already with the Exprit material. In 2019, the young French reached the fifth place of the FFSA Academy French Championship in the OK-Junior class.

In 2020, Rogeon will be taking part in the WSK Euro Series, in some rounds of the Champions of the Future Series by RGMMC at Zuera and Kristianstad, and in all the races of the FIA Karting European Championship followed by the FIA Karting World Championship in Brazil. “I am happy and proud. To me, this is an extraordinary opportunity to reach the highest level of karting. I am very grateful to the ‘Kart Management’ team of Ludo Chevalier and to the OTK Kart Group,” Rogeon said following the announcement.

Alexandru Iancu has been racing for some years after he made his debut with a first place in the 2014 Romania Cup. He then gained victories in the FRK Cup and the first place in the MINI ROK in Siena, back in 2015. In 2018, he finished first in the Bridgestone Trophy within the ROK International Cup. “What I like most in karting is that you always have to be focused on what you have to do,” Iancu commented.

Due to the decision by WSK Promotion to postpone the upcoming meetings of the WSK Super Master Series and Euro Series, both drivers will have to wait until the opener of the Champions of the Future Series by RGMMC in Zuera, Spain, from April 2nd to 5th to make their official debut with the Exprit Racing Team.
