The first race of the season marked an important step forward in the young history of the Exprit Racing Team. At the opening round of the WSK Super Master Series, run last weekend on the Adria Karting Raceway, the Exprit Noesis R chassis powered by Vortex engines delivered great performances.

The drivers learned and improved along the way while the material showed its quality by conquering the OK Final’s third step of the podium thanks to Dilano Van’T Hoff with the Forza Racing Team.

The Exprit Racing Team’ standard-bearers Kajus Siksnelis and Toni Kayla Naude were able to improve all weekend after fairly good qualifying efforts. Siksnelis, especially, recovered several positions during his heats and drove well during the Prefinal’s first stages until contact brought him to the backlines, putting an end to his Top Ten ambitions.

Apart from one retirement, Naude managed to improve his pace heat after heat, showing off all her potential especially in the last qualifying race where she recovered 12 positions. The great improvement of the young driver at her debut in the category, as well as in the team, carried on in Prefinal, allowing her to look forward to her next race meetings with boosted confidence.

Charlie Wurz stood out brilliantly in Qualifying where he finished in the Top 20, achieving a really good performance considering he had the flu throughout the whole weekend. Two unlucky retirements in the following Qualifying Heats eventually influenced the course of his weekend.

In OK-Junior, Oscar Wurz proved to be combative during the heats, where, even though he was forced to start from the backlines. The Exprit Noesis R chassis supported him during his comebacks until the Prefinal where he had to withdraw through the race.

The Exprit Racing Team is looking forward to taking part in one of the most important races of the calendar: the South Garda Winter Cup, taking place at Lonato, Italy, from February 14th to 16th in the OK and Junior categories.
