Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR/IAME), having won the Prefinal B, and Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart/Vortex) were among the front runners for the Final’s win but it was Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart/Vortex), winner of the Prefinal A, who slid in among them in the early part of the race to take the lead.

Antonelli was involved in an incident with Matheus Morgatto (Parolin/TM) in the opening stages of the Final. The Italian rejoined last and could only finish 16th with the fastest lap, while Hiltbrand suffered from rib pain and retired. Meanwhile, Bedrin managed to pull away from the field and dominated the race, this victory earning him the 2020 title of the WSK Super Master Series!

United Arab Emirates’ driver Jamie Day (Birel ART/TM) secured the second position in the closing stages in front of Rafael Camara (Exprit/TM). Matheus Morgatto (Parolin/TM) was fourth and led both Joe Turney (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Luigi Coluccio (Kosmic/Vortex).

Next event in the international karting calendar: the opening round of the WSK Euro Series, from July 8th to 12th, on the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno.
