The WSK Euro Series ended with great results for Kosmic, back from South Garda Karting where the series’s double round took place last weekend. The excellent results gained on the track both by the drivers of the official team led by Olivier Marechal and by the teams who chose the OTK Kart Group’s material, highlighted once again the great work carried out this year with the Kosmic Mercury R and Vortex engines.

In Junior, Maceo Capietto, new to the team, gave an excellent performance with the fourth position of Round 3’s Final, along with the best lap. The way Capietto became familiar with Kosmic’s material gave great satisfaction to the Italian team, recovering positions after positions throughout the heats of both rounds. Alexander Gubenko also qualified for both Finals, while a withdrawal and a penalty prevented Ean Eyckmans from taking part in the decisive races. In the same category, Coskun Irfan from Ricky Flynn Motorsport brought Kosmic onto the podium’s third step in Round 2’s Final.

Luigi Coluccio shone as well in the OK class. In the Qualifying Heats, the Italian collected a first, a second and a third place, followed by a second one in the Prefinal. In the decisive races, Coluccio managed to reach the fifth rank in the race valid for the third round, while he recovered nine positions up to fourth in the one for the second round, managing to gain the fifth place in the series rankings.

After the WSK Euro Series, the Kosmic Kart Racing Department is looking forward to taking part in the FIA Karting World Championship – OK/Junior, scheduled on November 4th-8th on the circuit of Portimao, in Portugal.
