OK

With a second place and two wins under his belt, Lorenzo Travisanutto (KR/IAME) almost had a clean sweep on the French circuit of Angerville. The Italian will, therefore, put his CV Performance Group-colored chassis on the Pole position this Sunday morning for the Seniors’ Prefinal. Alongside him will be Taylor Barnard (KR/IAME) who won the opening heat before finishing runner-up to Travisanutto twice in a row. Matheus Morgatto (Tony Kart/Vortex) managed two top three-finishes to secure the second row of the grid alongside Gabriele Mini’ (Parolin/TM). The provisional class leader Dino Beganovic (Tony Kart/Vortex) was hoping for more but a 13th place-finish in his last heat pushed him further back on the third row that he will share with Nikolas Pirttilahti (KR/IAME). Friday’s Polesitter Dexter Patterson (KR/IAME) concluded his day at a distant 11th position overall partially due to a retirement in his first Heat while in the lead on a wet track.

OK Junior

Winner of two of his three heats, the Dutchman Thomas Ten Brinke (FA Kart/Vortex) claimed the highest seat of the Junior provisional ranking and will start Sunday’s Prefinal from Pole. Sharing the front row will be Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR/IAME), the Italian having accumulated two top 3-finishes. Christian Ho (FA Kart/Vortex), whose best result was a third place, will be amongst those to watch from row number 2 alongside his Ricky Flynn Motorsport teammate James Wharton (FA Kart/Vortex) who claimed the third race of the day. With a third place as best personal result, Jamie Day (Exprit/Vortex) was ranked in fifth position overall ahead of Alfio Spina (KR/IAME) and Robert De Haan (Energy Corse/TM). The Dutch, second in the points standings, had to fight from 21st on the grid to climb up to 7th and keep his hopes of podium alive. Unlike him, Sarno’s best man Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart/Vortex) couldn’t keep his momentum and ended up in 15th position.

60 Mini

Ten Qualifying Heats were necessary to decide between the 44 drivers entering the 60 Mini class in Angerville. Unfortunately, the weather conditions played their part in mixing up the cards with two starts delayed with the red flag because of pouring rain requesting the switch to appropriate rubber. Far from troubled, Joel Bergström (Parolin/TM) won three of his four races and took the leadership of the provisional points classification. Second overall, Belgium’s Ean Eyckmans (Parolin/TM) clinched two wins for himself and will lead the Prefinal B from Pole. Ranked third, Keanu Al Azhari (Parolin/TM), winner of one heat, will share the Prefinal A’s front row with Bergström while Friday’s Polesitter Francesco Marenghi (Tony Kart/TM) will try to surprise Eyckmans in the second Prefinal. The Frenchman Guillaume Bouzar (Ipkarting/TM) concluded his Saturday in the fifth position ahead of Rashid Al Dhaheri (Parolin/TM) and the class leader William Macintyre (Parolin/TM). Despite two victories, Alex Powell (Energy Corse/TM) was only 11th.
