The region of Adria, in northern-Italy, is not spared by the current heat wave in Europe. With temperatures rising up to 41-42°C in some places close to the track (see picture), WSK Promotion, the Promoter of the WSK Euro Series, has officially decided to delay the start of all track sessions this Thursday by one hour.

This decision was made in order for teams and drivers to benefit from more track time by night instead of having to work in too high temperatures.

From 15:00 as originally planned in the schedule, today’s track activity will, therefore, start from 16:00 with Free Practice running until 23:55.

This means that the following Qualifying Practice Sessions (start at 00:10) will resume around 1:35 tonight in Adria.

Updated schedule

Thursday16:00 – 23:55 Free Practice
00:10 – 01:35 Qualifying Practice
