Sunday night was a time of celebration for Christian Voß and his entire squad. The drivers of the Kart Republic team were spread all over Europe and had successful results throughout the last weeks.

The second race of the WSK Euro Series took place on the French circuit of Angerville with Lorenzo Travisanutto and Nikolas Pirttilahti representing the colors of CV in the OK class. Already after the heats, the Italian was leading the field and didn’t give up his position throughout the final race that also granted him the first spot in the points standings. His Finnish teammate was also ranked amongst the top players of the category with an excellent seventh position at the flag.

Elsewhere in Europe, six drivers entered the ADAC Kart Masters in Ampfing and dominated the field of the X30 Seniors. In Qualifying, Heats and in both Finals, a driver of the CV Performance Group was classified each in an upper ranking. Linus Jansen became the winner of the first race, followed by Claudia Henning, O’Neill Muth, and Louis Kulke. The latter made the jump onto position one in the second run and at the same time set the fastest lap with Muth and Jansen completing the podium. Henning was placed ninth in front of Kris Rosenkranz in 14th and Ferdinand Winter in 20th place. In the overall rankings, four drivers of the team are placed in the top five.

Christian Voß (CV Performance Group leader): “We can be very satisfied with the results in Angerville and Ampfing. It could not have gone any better. The entire team does a great job and everybody has one goal – to win.”

Simultaneously to both kart races, two former kart drivers made their debut in the ADAC GT4 Germany. The race series celebrated its maiden race in Oschersleben. Jan Philipp Springob and Luci Trefz started as juniors of the CV Performance Group and showed strong performances. Both drove a Mercedes AMG GT4. The youngster Trefz ended both races in eight and seventh. In the second run, he showed a great recovery race and, after an accident in Qualifying, fought his way from the end of the field towards seventh place together with his teammate.

The ADAC GT4 Germany will resume at the beginning of June on the Austrian Red Bull Ring. In two weeks time, the kart drivers will be back on track for the second round of the German Kart championship on the Pro Kart Raceland of Wackersdorf.
