Midsummer temperatures and tough track conditions were waiting on the South Garda Circuit in Italy. With 316 drivers, the fight for the top positions of the WSK Euro Series would be worth its weight of gold. The Who-is-Who of karting was present, among them also the CV Performance Group with two drivers.

The Italian Lorenzo Travisanutto again wanted to make the jump onto the podium after his past five victories in a row. Ranked third in Qualifying, he got off to a great start and a little later a victory in the first heat followed. After a fifth and sixth rank in further races, Lorenzo was placed fifth in the temporary rankings and confirmed this position in the Prefinal. In the Finale, the Kart Republic driver launched his attack and saw the checkered flag in second position, collecting important points for the championship that he is still leading ahead of Adria’s closing round this weekend.

Next to Travisanutto, Chris Rosenkranz also snuffled international race air and collected numerous new experiences on the 1.200-meter long track. Unfortunately, he missed the Final being placed 23rd in the Prefinal.

Head of the team Christian Voß was very satisfied in the end and is looking forward to the Final round of the WSK Euro Series: “Already next weekend it will be decided if we are going to end this year as champions. That is our clear goal and we are working towards it. The race will be very unique because it will take place during night with floodlight. That is probably going to bring a great atmosphere.”

The fourth event of the WSK Euro Series will take place on the Adria Karting Raceway from June 27th to 29th. An event that will be covered by The RaceBox.
