OK

Already the fastest in the last Free Practice of the day, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR/IAME) kept his place on top of the OK timesheet in Qualifying ahead of Taylor Barnard (KR/IAME). Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart/Vortex) concluded his sessions with the third-fastest lap ahead of Christian Comanducci (Tony Kart/IAME) and Kirill Smal (Energy/TM).

Two Qualifying Heats followed with Antonelli keeping the edge over Barnard in the opening race (A-B) where Dilano Van’t Hoff (Exprit/TM) finished in third place ahead of Maksim Soldatov (Energy/TM) and reigning OK-Junior European Champion Marcus Amand (KR/IAME) reaching the Top Five for his OK debut. The second heat of the day (C-D) went to 2019 World Champion – Junior Thomas Ten Brinke (Kosmic/Vortex) who defeated polesitter Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart/Vortex), followed by Danny Carenini (Tony Kart/Vortex), Rafael Camara (Exprit/TM) and Christian Comanducci (Tony Kart/IAME).

OK-Junior

For the first time in his young career, Brando Badoer (KR/IAME) set the pace in a Qualifying session ahead of Tymoteusz Kucharczyk (RK/TM), the fastest in the second group. Artem Severiukhin (Tony Kart/Vortex) took the overall third-best performance in front of Emmo Fittipaldi Jr. (KR/IAME) and Bruno Del Pino (FA Kart/IAME).

As for the OK category, two Qualifying Heats followed with the first one (C-E) being won by Arvid Lindblad (KR/IAME) ahead of Martinius Stenshorne (KR/IAME), Artem Severiukhin (Tony Kart/Vortex) who couldn’t contain his opponents’ charge from pole, and Robert De Haan (Energy/TM). The next heat race (B-D) saw an efficient recovery from Giovanni Trentin (Parolin/TM) from fifth to first, in front of Tymoteusz Kucharczyk (RK/TM) and Alfio Spina in third. Having lost two places from his initial starting spot, Emmo Fittipaldi Jr. (KR/IAME) crossed the line in fourth, followed by Ugo Ugochukwu (Kosmic/Vortex).

Mini 60

The youngest of all three classes, filled with 75 entrants, was led in Qualifying by Maciej Gladysz (Parolin/TM) who set the fastest lap in the second of three scheduled-series. Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM), who had set the timing bar in the opening group, eventually had to settle for second place ahead of Rene Lammers (Parolin/TM), Dmitry Matveev (Energy/TM) and Jan Przyrowsky (Parolin/TM).

The opening heat (C-E) went to Kean Nakamura Berta (KR/IAME) who climbed from sixth on the grid to clinch his first victory of the weekend. Aleksandar Bogunovic (Tony Kart/TM) took second position ahead of Jan Przyrowsky (Parolin/TM), Oleksandr Bondarev (Tony Kart/TM) and Marcus Saeter (Energy/TM). Dmitry Matveev (Energy/TM) clinched victory in the second race (B-D) for half a second over Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM), Kirill Dzitiev (Energy/TM), Yuanpu Cui (Tony Kart/TM) and Gerasim Skulanov (IPK/TM).
