On the sun-drenched Mediterranean coast, the Kartódromo Internacional Lucas Guerrero in Valencia hosts the opening race for the Champions of the Future Shifters, May 7–10. The smooth, technical layout challenged over 20 teams and drivers from more than a dozen nations, all vying in the gearbox pinnacle of karting: the KZ and KZ2 categories.
KZ Qualifying
Matteo Spirgel (CPB Sport) stamped his authority with pole, while Jean Nomblot (CPB Sport) secured P2 to underline the team’s package performance. Behind them, Adrian Malheiro (Malheiro Racing), Danilo Albanese (KR Motorsport) and Giuseppe Palomba (Maranello Kart) rounded out a fiercely competitive top five .
KZ2 Qualifying
Kasper Schormans (CPB Sport) led a CPB clean sweep in KZ2, with Max Orlov (CPB Sport) slotting into P2 and Max Schleimer (CPB Sport) completing the trio. Markus Kajak (Formula K) and Corentin Rousseau (CL Racing Team) filled out the top five.
