With the temperatures still over 30°C, the Pro Kart Raceland of Wackersdorf was dry for the 31 drivers of the Mini class competing in their three Qualifying Heats on schedule.

The fastest against the stopwatch, Sebastian NG (Team Driver Racing Kart) didn’t convert his Pole position into wins but still topped the provisional classification thanks to two second and a fifth place. The young driver from Panama kept, therefore, his front starting position for tomorrow’s Prefinal. Edu Robinson (Fusion Motorsport) also finished twice within the Top 3 and was classified second ahead of Douwe Dedecker (Team Driver Racing Kart).

Fourth in today’s standings, Guillermo Delgado (C.D. Kib Racing) was followed by Leo Robinson (Fusion Motorsport) and Lucas Fluxa (Praga Espana Motorsport). Winner of the second and third heats, Freddie Slater (Fusion Motorsport) could have ended the day on top of the standings but lost his victory in the opening heat because of a 10-second penalty for overtaking under yellow flags. He was eventually classified seventh ahead of René Lammers (PDB), Patrice Kowalewski (RSD Karting), who inherited Slater’s win, and Noah Lisle (Fusion Motorsport) completing the Top Ten.

The Prefinal of the Mini category will start this Sunday at 11:20.
