Dilano Van’t Hoff delivered a strong overall performance for his second consecutive race in Adria concluded by his first podium of 2020. The Dutchman kicked off last weekend on the right foot by setting the fourth fastest lap in Qualifying, putting him on the front row for his heats. Despite a penalty costing him a second place, he finished all his races within the Top four, showing consistency and determination against strong rivalry. Fifth in his Prefinal, he rose his game even more coming to the Final where he fought for the podium after climbing from tenth on the grid. The 20-lap-long race didn’t lack turnarounds and wheel-to-wheel battles but Van’t Hoff turned the situation to his advantage and concluded his second meeting of the year on the podium’s third place. He currently stands sixth in the series’ provisional ranking with 32 points.

Rafael Camara, who had already been one of the strongest protagonists at the WSK Champions Cup, once again caught the eye of many in Adria. The Brazilian recovered a total of 17 places in his Heats with a fifth position as best result. Unlucky in Prefinal due to a penalty, he pulled off one of the Final’s recoveries going from 29th to 17th. Xizheng Huang also showed promising potential all weekend with an eighth-fastest lap in his Qualifying Series. The Chinese driver reached the Top 10 twice in his heats on his way to the Final where luck wasn’t on his side as he had to retire in the race’s opening stages.

Forza Racing entered four drivers in the OK-Junior category in Adria. The Brazilian Matheus Ferreira finished 13th in the Final after starting from 28th on the grid, concluding a difficult weekend on a strong note. Ninth-fastest in Friday’s Qualifying, the Brit Maxwell Dodds brought home two fifth-place results in his heats but had to retire a few laps from the Final’s end. The Dane Jonathan Weymadt reached the Top 10 on two occasions in his qualifying races but a mechanical issue stopped him before the start of the Final. Poland’s Gustaw Wisniewski fought well for his second race with the team, coming near the upper part of the field more than once in his heats but, unlike at the WSK Champions Cup, couldn’t make it to the Final as he already looks forward to the next race.

The next meeting for the Forza Racing Team will be the South Garda Winter Cup, taking place at Lonato from February 13th to 16th.
