The first two (out of three) Qualifying Heats smiled upon Simo Puhakka (Tony Kart/Vortex) who finished second of his opening race before taking a win later in the afternoon. The Finn is currently leading the provisional classification ahead of Lorenzo Camplese (Tony Kart/Vortex). The Polesitter took an early win followed by a fourth place that kept him in contention for the Final’s Pole position.

Third then second, Alessandro Irlando (Birel ART/TM) concluded his day in third position, followed by Bas Lammers (Sodikart/TM), who twice climbed up the order from eighth on the grid, and Anthony Abbasse (Sodikart/TM) closing up the top 5 in the points standings. Fifth-fastest in Qualifying, Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG/IAME) was classified a distant 14th after losing positions in both races (12th and DNF).
